Back to work after Christmas

Over half of Londoners suffering from “back to work blues”

The research found that of working Londoners that took time off during the festive period, more than half (54%) have been suffering with “back to work blues” and are not looking forward to returning to the workplace. A third (29%) said they are dreading the return.

Reasons that explain the reluctance to return to work include the routine of early mornings (46%), the lack of free time (41%) and workers missing their family (24%).

On the upside, a sixth (17%) are actually looking forward to returning, with two fifths (40%) stating their love for the job being the main reason why.
