PLSA: Pension Funds

The Need

With the pensions landscape changing and auto enrolment becoming a more prominent issue for employers across the UK, the PLSA (formerly NAPF) identified an opportunity to evolve and expand their membership with the new – to – pension employer market, in order to grow the business and gain new revenue streams.

Our Approach

Using a combination of qualitative ‘concept labs’ and quantitative research with SMEs, Opinium worked with the PLSA team to identify the features and membership package that would be most appealing to prospective new members, as well as analysis to determine the optimal price points to maximise revenue.

The Outcome

The research provided the PLSA with a firm basis on which to launch a new category of membership aimed at the SME and smaller business sizes.
