Highly commended at the Institute for Fundraising Awards as a ‘Rising Star’

Last night, Kate Whiffen, was highly commended at the Institute for Fundraising Awards as a ‘Rising Star’ in the industry for her work with Plan UK. She explains why the nomination meant so much and why working with the third sector is part of Opinium’s DNA.

“As an organisation, and as individuals, we are passionate about charitable giving. From internships to our charitable partnerships, our values drive our behaviours and determine how we operate our business.

Over the last 10 years we have actively grown our third sector practice so that today we work with a large number of charitable and non-for-profit organisations. Each occupies a unique, and sometimes challenging position in our ever-changing world. We feel privileged to have developed long-term partnerships with these organisations and have the opportunity to create research which continues to drive long-term change and ultimately help increase the level of support and donations made to that charity.

Being nominated for the ‘Rising Star’ award was a totally unexpected privilege. However, I wouldn’t have been nominated if it were not for the outstanding work of the wider team and Opinium’s continued commitment to conduct research in the third sector.”
