Two in five Brits want more ‘me’ time after a hectic summer

A recent study carried out by Opinium on behalf of Pinterest has shown that with the summer ending, and memories of heatwaves, BBQs, and the world-cup fading, many of us are looking to focus on ourselves.

Just over two in five Brits (43%) plan to declutter and reorganise following the summer and 30% are looking to repaint one or more of their rooms.

On a similar note two in five (37%) say they want more ‘me’ time after a busy summer and 38% believe September is the month to make small changes in lifestyle.

The change in season is also a time when the nation is looking to try new things. A fifth of those surveyed (20%), revealed that they want to spruce up their culinary skills and try new recipes in the kitchen with 15% wanting to try a new hobby including sewing, painting and baking.
